Website
Robert is a furniture designer in Marshall, North Carolina. I was asked to redesign his website. He wanted a modern feel with new photos of his work.
My roles: Creative direction; web design; photography; illustration
Inspiration & ideation: I incorporated curved-line sections on his site to create a prominent, recurring visual element that reflects the curved design of his rocking chairs.
Results: Robert reported a 100% increase in contacts from the website in comparison to his old site.

Business Card & Signage
Robert needed a business card to give to local furniture and gift shop owners to market his patented rocking chair for display in their stores. He also needed a banner to use for local trade shows.
My roles: Creative direction; graphic design
Inspiration & ideation: The color palette was chosen to match the aesthetic of his website and overall brand. I chose a kraft paper card to reflect the feel of handcrafted woodworking. The banner has a more neutral palette to direct focus on the contact information and not take away from the furniture on display.
Results: Robert successfully displayed his rockers in two North Carolina retailers using the new business cards.

Editorial
Robert's rocking chair was featured in Our State Magazine. I designed a three-page spread and incorporated provided copy along with photos that I took.
My roles: Creative direction, layout design, photography
Inspiration & ideation: I wanted to incorporate the curved design of Robert's chair into design of the spread, and I manipulated the text and images to reflect this.
